Village People mourn the death of their friend Dick Clark. We loved him and he loved the group. It was on his amazing show American Bandstand that the dance to YMCA was created, and he invited the group to perform on so many of his special programs as well. In his office he had 3 photos: The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Village People! Dick Clark did more for the development of American music than almost anyone and he did it with love and respect.
